David A.'s Story
Life
Well it's now fall of 2008. I've been in Las Vegas the past 25 yrs. now. Left Danville in '79 to move to LA to fly Lear Jets full-time. Moved to Texas in 80 to 84 to be chief pilot for a oil & gas well drilling company. Moved here to Henderson, NV later in 1984 to fly DC-9's and Boeing 737's for Sunworld International Airways.
That lasted a few year and since 1989, I've been flying for ATA airlines with their home base in Indy. I was captain on the 727's and now for the last several years, captain on the Boeing 757's. They shut their doors for good in April 2008. Flew for them for over 19 yrs.
I am now Chief Pilot for a corporate flight department right h...Expand for more
ere in Las Vegas, well, actually Henderson, NV.
I'll attach a picture of our new hanger, my office/lounge and the new jet I picked up from the factory back in August of this year. I have now gotten into Voice-over work as a Voice actor as well and loving it. Have a home studio that works ok for now.
I never will move from Vegas. WAY to much going on here to ever think of moving from here. Entertainment, concerts, NASCAR, Drags, not EVEN mentioning the Sunday Champagne brunches and being able to ride the Harley all 12 months of the year.
That's enough about me, what have YOU been up to? Keep a smile on your face and a song in your heart and GO VIKINGS GO!!
